National Route 12 and Paraná River. Inaugurated in 1977, it constitutes the main railway road link between the southern Mesopotamian area of Argentina and the province of Buenos Aires. Due to its proximity to the City of Buenos Aires, it is also the international connection of Argentina with Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. It is formed by two bridges: one bridge, over the Paraná de las Palmas River, is called General Bartolomé Miter Bridge; the other, 30 kilometers away, over the Paraná Guazu River, is called General Justo José de Urquiza Bridge. Each of them is 550 meters in total length and has a height of 50 meters above the river level, which allows the sailing of large ships. A four-lane highway and a railway connect them to each other.

The Paraná River, which in the Guaraní language means "Relative of the Sea", rises in southern Brazil, at the confluence of the Grande and Paranaíba rivers and flows into the Río de la Plata, after traveling approximately 3,940 kilometers. Between the cities of Rosario (Province of Santa Fe) and Diamante (Province of Entre Ríos), the river divides into several arms, separated by islands, giving origin to the Delta. Its main arms are the Paraná Bravo, Paraná Miní , Paraná Guaz ( a term that in aboriginal language means "river like sea" or "big water") , and Paraná de las Palmas, which owes its name to the number of palm trees found along its route.
ZARATE AIRCLUB

With the aid of the Municipality and the Government of the Province, they obtained the field where the club is nowadays established. The Municipality and the community enthusiastically donated the materials to build a hangar and prepare a runway. An instructor, a mechanic and a carpenter, as well as machinery to build and maintainthe flight equipment, were assigned by the National Direction of Air Navigation . They also donated a tow plane and a two-seater training glider.
